Ethics and Philosophy
Faculty with a speciality in Ethics and Philosophy focus on issues concerning the value-laden and ethical dimensions of scientific and engineerng research, the philosophical foundations and principles of science and technology, and the development of knowledge (epistemology).
History and Culture
Faculty with a speciality in History and Culture investigate and teach on historical aspects of scientific and technological developments and/or contemporary aspects of the cultural dimensions of science and technology.
Law and Policy
Faculty with a speciality in Law and Policy have significant background and training in matters pertaining to legal and policy issues in science and technology.
